Welcome to the Historical Society of Cecil County media center. The Society, as of June 2007, has joined the wave of museums and special collections libraries across the nation that are streaming digital media online. As we develop our content be sure to check back occasionally to see what we’ve added. Expect to see podcast or video-cast interviews, conversations, brief lectures, basic instructional materials, reports on special events of interest to patrons, and much more. Our first video-cast begins with a report on the send off ceremony for soldiers of the local National Guard Unit in Elkton. Additional ones cover the unveiling of a marker for Elkton’s Little Wedding and the history of marriages in Elkton.
