MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
AND BENEFITS

All members receive the Journal
of Cecil County History three
times a year, vote in bi-yearly
elections, receive discounts on
books available from the
Society, and attend the
meetings and functions we
sponsor. Members are also
entitled to publish queries in the
Society’s journal.

Basic -- $20: All of the above
and membership card for one
individual

Couple — $25: All of the above
and two membership cards for
people residing at one address.

Contributor—$50: All of the
above and knowledge that your
additional contribution advances
the mission of the Society;
annual listing acknowledging
your special contribution.

Benefactor—$75: All of the
above and knowledge that your
additional contribution greatly
advances the mission of the
Society.

Curator’s Circle—$100 — all of
the above

Director’s Circle—$200: All of
the above

Historian’s Circle—$300: All of
the above

Legacy Circle—$500: All of the
above and a fine print depicting
the Society’s building when it
served as a bank in the late
1800s.

Life Membership—$1000:
Payment of dues one time and
all of the above benefits

Student—$10: For full time
students, all of the benefits of a
basic membership

Procedure for Online Membership

1. Select the appropriate category from the
column on the left. The higher level
categories, help advance the Society's
mission to a greater degree, so consider one
of those.

2. Select the pay now button below, which
will take you to a secure PayPal page for
payment. Even if you dont have a PayPal
account, you may use a credit card on
PayPal.

3. Enter the amount for the appropriate
category and provide the other requested
information. There is also a freeform block
for providing special instructions.

4. If you prefer to send a check by mail,
return to the main membership page and
complete that form. Then mail your
membership to the Society.

5. You will receive your membership
package in about two weeks.
