History of Colora
The Colora Civic Association published the History of Colora to acquaint readers with the Cecil County village and its surrounding area. There are chapters on churches, schools, poets, businesses and clubs and societies in the area. There are also items from county newspapers, as well as pieces on farms, homes, and families. Throughout the book are maps, photographs, and line drawings depicting original houses when possible. The research was done by members and friends of the Colora Civi Association in the county land records and the Historical Society library. The editors of the book were Nancy B. Conrad (also the illustrator, Sally A. McKee and Hazel E. Jenkins.
