Many early Mackeys settled in the area along the Mason-Dixon Line in Chester County, Pennsylvania and Cecil County, Maryland within a circle of about 40 miles centered on the point where the States of Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania meet. Years of research on this family have produced a work that is closely tied to the history of the place where they first settled.
